* Material: The Screws are made of carbon steel C1022A to enhance the strength of the Hex Head Self-drilling screws. Adopt a high-strength rolling arm, small gap, mute, wear-resistant, and uniform force.
* Hex head: The six flat surfaces of the hexagonal head have a larger contact area with the wrench or socket, allowing it to withstand higher torque when tightening. The hexagonal head is less prone to slippage during tightening, making it especially suitable for dynamic load environments. It can be operated with ordinary open-end wrenches, box wrenches, and socket wrenches, without the need for special tools.
* Washer: Helps the screws against water penetration.
* Sharp Point: It is usually used in wood structures. Enable the screw the screw in and cause a little damage. Cannot drill through metal and needs a pilot hole. Sharp point is available with almost any possible screw head design.
* Drill Point: Most of the roofing screws have a drill point. It is commonly used to fasten metal, plastic, and fiberglass roofing sheets to metal or wood structures. The drill point enables drilling without creating a pilot hole first. But if it is used in extremely hard material, it is advised to use it after creating a pilot hole.
* Surface Treatment: Blue-white zinc has a slight edge in rust prevention, and its natural color is light, making it less prone to discoloration after coating. After zinc plating and heat treatment, the Self-drilling Screws become resistant to corrosion and harder. The Ruspert and Dacromet treatment is successful in achieving superior anti-corrosion performance.
